when i was in high school my teacher was obsessed with all the [censored] up people of the past that did really horrible things. he was also a psychology teacher. And was on a trip about trying to under stand them. anyways. in our HS class room (history) he had pictures of every person you can imagine. including hitler. Along with all the presents. This almost sounds like a BS story. I wonder if there's more to it.

The way schools are run now, I fully take this story at face value.

If this were not an election year that picture would be ok. I think during an election year there should be pictures of both candidates.

Last time I checked middleschool kids couldn't vote so what makes anyone think that hanging up a picture of the UNITED STATES PRESIDENT was some sort of political move? Geez. I remember when I was in school (many many years ago) there were several classroom that had ALL of the U.S. presidents on the walls...they are part of our HISTORY like them or not.

And you would be one of the parents that got that teacher fired. People honestly need to get a grip on life and worry about themselves. Are people's lives that pathetic that they go out looking for ways to cut other people down to make themselves feel better? I hope those select few parents feel good about doing such a great thing for their community and puting what was most likely an upstanding teacher/role model, out of work.

What's sad is that this is a prime example of how administrations never back their teachers when parents complain about stupid mindless crap because they're afraid of being sued. And we wonder why we lose so many good teachers.

The really sad truth if this were the other way around, and that were Al Gore up there the republican parents would be up in arms.
