I have a 95 2.0 automatic that vibrates at idle when it is gear. I understand that there is no way to increase the idle speed on this model.
Does anyone know what I need to do to have the computer reprogrammed to increase the idle by 200 rpm???

Lots of things can cause rough idle, bad plugs/wires, PCV valve, motor mounts, timing belt worn, timing off, IAC valve bad/clogged/sticking, intake cleaning may help it did for me.
My idle isnt perfect, viberates slighty, it has sense day one, I was told there is no way to make it idle perfectly.

First of all, welcome to CEG. Now, on to your problem. Even if it is possible to somehow repgram the pcm to control idle speed, I would recommend against it. All you would be doing is masking the problem and it would still be there. I too have a 95 2.0 automatic. For the longest time my car would vibrate at idle and it turns out that it was my transaxle mount that is on the left hand side bolted to the fender apron. I replaced it last weekend and it made a 95% improvement in the vibration. Now, the motor still idles low and i'm still working on fixing that but I can no longer feel the vibration inside the car or at the steering wheel. I also need to mention that I have now replaced every single engine/tranny mounts on the car. If I was you I would check them out and replace as necessary. Good Luck

Does it idle bad with the AC on or in park?

The condition that my car is experiencing is a know problem with the 4 cyl engine. It is a harmonic vibration. Ford has a remedy for it that requires I replace the steering mass damper, aV module and radiator.
If I manually hold the idle speed at 750 rpm while the car is in gear instead of it idling at 550 rpm the vibration completely goes away. I am looking for an inexpensive way to remedy the vibration.
The idle is otherwise smooth.

The idle is fine when the car is in park and it actually idles better with the A/C on. My issue is with the steering wheel and car vibrating. The idle seems ok but if it was just a little higher the engine would not vibrate.
