This is how I determined when to go to major parks with rides.
works great, especially in May.

I think I am going to have to agree with Todras and Christy on this one. I just went to king's dominion last weekend and I decided not to even ride the hypersonic XLC since I have been on it before and other than the start and on hill it has nothing. I did ride most of the other coasters at the park.

I have been to cedar point and I rode the Millennium Force and I think it is a good coaster. I also rode the Wicked Twister and thought it was more of a one trick pony. I think I was there before the top thrill dragster coaster was finished. I need to get back there soon with my GF to ride the coasters again.

The batman in Six Flags over GA scared the SHIIIIIIIZZZZZZIT outta me. Bout lost my oakley's twice! (forgot to take them off). My wife who has ridden the batman in Norleans and ATL says the one in ATL is way better... was my first one too.... and the 4th and 5th. Ninja rules too!

Granted its not big, and its not fast, but the one near me is good for an intresting ride. It was built in the 1920s, creaks, rattles, and generally makes you think its going to fall apart right under you. Lets see the new ones do that!

Until this park starts trying to compete with, or gets bought out *crosses fingers* by Six Flags or someone like it Utah will just have to survive with this one.

It must have something because it is the first ride I go to when I am at the park.

I saw this on TV a while back and if I'm ever anywhere near the west coast, will have to make a trip to check this out:

6 Flags X Coaster

The grainy pix on the website don't do it justice. You sit in a seat that's suspended to the side of the car, nothing around you, and spin around (head over heels) independently of the track direction via a second "track within a track" that controls the spin of the seat axis/spindle. I'm having a hard time describing it in words here, but it looks like the ultimate mindf#ck...
