i havent heard them but i would appreciate any info from someone who has or can offer any alternative suggestions, im looking for somethin that has good mid bass but i also like components so i can mount the tweeter in the a piller for higher sound stage. thanks

actually I bought the polk dx 6.5" components and they sound great. they appear to be similar in quality and construction to my friends older kappa speakers that also sound great. expensive though. probably better things out there for the money from other companies.

I like the Dynaudio seperates. I have had good success with them.

right now i have the polx ex and whenever i change tracks i get a popping noise from them and they sound kind of scratchy sometimes. so i think they are bad. the zeb has the infinity kappas for 185 http://thezeb.com/caraudio/infinity.html

infinity is well known for having smooth response. i would go find a retail outlet and listen to them yourself and find your own opinion. but i would recommend them.
