hey new to this forum i just got a 98 contour svt for a winter car got it free long story right now it needs a new tank and sending unit cause someone dumped sugar in the tank not sure yet if im gonna keep it after the winter or sell it it needs a hood right now and i would like to lower it

SVT ... winter car ... New England ... make it even lower??

yup seriously the only day the roads are bad are the day it snows so its not that bad and i've lowered prety much every car i've owned

i dunno what are my options i was thinkin about 2 inches should be good i just want to stiffen it up and remove that gap between tires and fender

it can be done, gr8svt drives a lowered 96 as his dailer driver, in the winter also

he has eibach springs and those give you the 1.5 or so inch drop that closes the fender gap

search the suspension forum, all the types of spring have been talked about there at some point

I'm doing the BAT Suspension Kit which will give me aroun 1'-1.5' drop, it should be perfect for winters. since I'm a daily commuter to school, I hafta get snow tires

sounds good but i dont plan on droppon too much into this car but we'll see what happens i never can lave a car stock for very long
