I pulled the IAC and put 12V to it and it functioned very smooth. I also cleaned it while I had it out.
The TPS and PCV I replaced. I cleaned the MAF. *If you remove the intire intake plenum down to the TB it will do exactly the same thing. I am trying to figure out what all my Brother replaced but I think he replace the O2 sensor, plugs and wires. I don't think the EGR was replaced.
When you start the car it starts perfect, while you drive it runs very smooth. As soon as you put it in drive or reverse or just turn on the A/C it will idle very rough and stall.
I tried to have Ford run the codes and they said they couldn't do it until the harness was replaced. I took it to midas and they said they couldn't because it was a 95 and their scanner only did 96 and up. I still havn't gotten the codes. I was told to take it to Autozone but they too said it had to be a 96 or above.
I hope this gives you a better starting point. I guess I will find another shop until someone can run the damn codes.
