I swapped from drum to disc tonight. COst $50 at the parts yard. The hardest part was carrying my tools and the both complete hubs with all hardware out of the yard. It took 3 hours to pull the donor parts, pull my drums and replace the disc in place. I had to get a female to female brake line adapter since my body hard lines were male and so were the donor caliper hoses. I know it is mostly for looks but it does seam to stop much better now.
ATX MTX swap, rear drum disc swap, drilled rotors, ported intake, optim throttle body, CAI, 7.5L MAF, adj. fuel regulator, longtube headers, underdrive pulley, no EGR, low inpedence bigger injectors, 2002 Focus Swap

Cool. Sounds like you got a good deal on the parts, too. Where did you get the adapters?
I've been looking for used parts for a disc brake swap for several months now. The best price I've gotten so far is $150 for very high-mileage un-rebuilt parts at a junkyard in L.A. (fifty miles away from here).

The adapters were at autozone for $0.99 a piece brass connectors. Yeah I was happy with the price I paid.

Does your Tour have ABS? Curious about that would work without ABS and those PCV valves on the rear drums? Paul

Yeah its got ABS. What pcv valves? I did notice that sum tours at the wrecking yard had valves of some sort between the brake line and the brake hose for the rear drums. But not all of the cars had this and mine didn't either.
