they got the bolt out. car is ready to be picked up. w00t!?
Roz, you are not 100% correct. my 2002 escape engine did NOT come with a DMD installed. it was a non-dmd.

I thought they were coming factory on all Mazda 6's and now the 3L Mondeo?

Ahhh..ok, thats weriod....when i was working on my SVT hybird (thanks for the help again!!!) i ran the part number i got off the escape motor (2003) and it had the DMD....was it only the 2002 model year??

not sure! but i am certain it DOES come on mazda6's. anyways..... they got the bolt out. car is ready to be picked up. w00t!? they couldn't do an alignment cuz the car was too low to get it onto their aligning equipment

what would you put on the 3 liter in place of it?
UDP al lthe way , that DMD weighs a TON , #1 worst thing i have bought to this day .

Please read this post, and the Quote from Grass Roots Motorsports.....It has been tested and proven that weight is not a factor when using a pully that dampens properly, which the DMD also has been proven to do.

thats why i dynoed 4hp more with a UDP over DMD. Also I have 175,000 miles on my UDP living consistently above the 5grand realm! FACTS are indeed FACTS. YEa I was all into the hype as well.

Are you comparing peak HP, or are you looking at the whole power band??
Not trying to start anything, but i would like to see the data you have collected....The link i put in my last post was from 2 or 3 months ago.
EDIT: DemonSVT though, very blut and rude sometimes, brings up very good points in the post i posted...The main pourpous of the DMD is to control crank harmonics and at the same time, free up hidden Hp. though, Hp increase is not always the case. it has also been stated that the DMD is evective int he higher RPMs, which DemonSVT has proven....regardles of hs deamonor, i trust his knowledge and his expertise...besides the fact that he is an engenieer.
flywheel will also effect it....Diffrent weight flywheels, affect it, cause one side is lighter and one side heaveier...Like i said before, im not trying to start anything with you, but DEMONSVT has supplied proof...can you?
