Well the contour is already out of comission. Yesterday whilst leaving school, I took the "shortcut" (a 20ft road that says "ROAD CLOSED", its gravel, cuts out of the back parking lot). When I got onto the gravel road, I decided to leave school "rally style", so I romped on it in 2nd gear. Durifto and a huge cloud of smoke happened, along with the car suddently getting very loud. I pull onto the pavement, hear something dragging. I thought to myself "Oh god, its already FORDED me. Upon going under the car THE WHOLE EXHAUST FELL OFF and is dragging. I spend a good 15 minutes ripping it off and throwing it into the drunk/interior. Then for the whole hour ride home it sounded like a dump truck, especially because of how quickly I was shifting to keep the noise down (hit 5th by 35 mph).
Now I had to drive the Yukon to school, I wish I could keep a camera on it at all times.

That sucks. I hate it when that happens. And of course everyone looks at you as you drive past.

Um you live in Penn with lots of snow and salt and then run down a scetchy road at high speeds. No surprise there.

The problem with America is stupidity.
I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment
for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety
labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?

Dummy. Why would you run a normal car 'rally style' through a crappy gravel road? I mean, usually when a person runs a car in a rally, the car is prepped! Stupid actions equal stupid reactions.
Sorry.
Please don't blame FORD for your dumb actions.

Im not, its just funny. It wasnt even a road. You have to hop a curb to get onto it, and off of it. basicly it was a shortcut the school made to make move-in day quicker. They laid down gravel between the two curbs. Now the road is closed, but I still use it because it saves me a mile of driving. I'll have the car fixed Friday when I come home again
