Yeah mine got bent up pretty good. Took it to the garage and paid $150 to get a new piece and 4 wheel alignment!! Bastards!

That can really screw up your handling.

I had a flatbed bend one of mine, and the car felt like it was out of control on abrupt hard turns. It was scary!

Most people get them bent by jacking the car up on one, whether you realized the jack/lift was under it or not.

Best bang for the buck performance tires I like is the Firestone Firehawk SZ50-EP. Great in the wet and dry and mid-range for price.

I loved my Yoki ES100's too, they looked SO sexy! But they just wore too fast to be economical for me (only lasted 17k miles)

UM,
If you couldn't tell by looking at the tires that they were bad. Then it's your fault.

Andy W. The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?

I liked the looks of the Yoko's as well, but lost (>rolling resistance) 3-4 mpg with them compared to Bridgestone RE-750's...much better tire with much better wear!!

Like said above, the control arms are cheap. 2 bolts hold it on IIRC and you're back in business. new tires ~ $3-500 and a 4 wheel allignment ~ $65-75.

I second that. My bent arm killed my handling. Once I fixed it the car feels much smoother. It only costs about $30.00 to fix it if you do it yourself and it is EASY.
