This may not be the exact place to post this and if not, I profusly apoligize but am not finding the answer by looking through the posts. I want brighter, GOOD quality headlamps. I also want to help the ineffective stock fog/driving lights. Oh yeah....98 Contour Sport, V6. I looked at the Silverstars. Some after market companies here at this forum list lamps that are higher wattage but require modification of the wiring. Please, a consensus would be nice. What is out there and what have you had good success with for maximum brightness that will help in good road conditions and for dark wet roads for someone whose night vision is a little weak. Your input is truly appreciated....Steve

Even with those, I saw a huge improvement in visibility, which is a testament to just how bad the stock fogs are. Silverstars are decent, but overated IMO.
