Alright so I bought a used CSVT 99 year model #341

So far I ordered the new y pipe from BAT. A CAI from BAT new urethane bushings. plug wires and a few other little misc goodies. My only problem is that the left side speakers are dead, The front one works sometimes. The back one doesn't work at all. I tried the HU and it isn't that. I took the door panel off and wiggled the left front speaker wires it worked for a little while today, So I searched for open wires loose wires any kind of messed up wire. Any ideas?

chances are it is jus tthe speakers themselves, my father had his rear door speakers just fail in his 95, wires inside came loose

That is very odd, when i bought my 99 csvt about a month ago i noticed that the left back speaker wasnt working. it didnt bother me that much but now the front left is going out! There is only one way to fix that and that is buy new ones. Get some nice 4 ways.

Yup, my speakers had the same symptoms. I replaced them with Pioneer TS-A6870Rs. The Pioneers work OK, but I thought they would sound a lot better than stock, but they don't really.

I'll tell you what these contours just have all sorts of tricks up their sleeves!

I drove my 98 off the lot (brand new) and the right rear speaker was dead. I installed new speakers that week and a head unit shortly after that to take advantage of the better speakers (first and only mods).

So this appears to be a common problem I looked all over in the FAQ's and Troubleshooting guess I will buy new speakers this week.
