Don't turn this into a FCO v. CEG thing; this is nothing more than a guy defending his superbly prepared SVTC to a punkassshitforbrains.
1. It means nothing to me if it doesn't stir my senses. For the last time, it's a greatly produced effort. I just don't like the color. Why is that so hard to comprehend?
2. Yeah, maybe that's so. And I gave it to him. It appeared to not be enough.
3. Dom has every right to defend his car. I know that. He knows that. You just like to stir pots. You did it earlier this month in the SECEG forum, and here you are again, bringing something up that should be left for dead like I asked it to be.
I'm trying to let it go and give Dom the courtesy I have left in letting other people view his thread without misfires such as this one. He put a lot of time into his CSVT and he deserves such recognition, FCO or CEG alike.
And you might want to think twice about your namecalling. I won't react so nicely next time.

They'll likely stick out past your fenders. The RS Focus has wider fenders than a normal Focus. I'm not entirely sure though as as I don't know anyone on the Jet that whas bought them. THey are quite heavy. If you could get them to work however, I would have to agree they are one of the best looking wheels out there.
Centerline makes a fairly similar 5 spoke wheel (I can't remember the name as of now) that can be bought in either silver or Gunmetal/hyperblack with a machined lip.

We are getting a meet together for October, and whomever wants to come down and judge it "in person" is more than welcome to look it all over (every edge, and every detail) and give me their opinion. Then, by all means I would have nothing to say. I'll let my work speak for itself. What better way is there? For those who have met me, I don't think they believe the way "some" of you portray me to be. I'm an enthusiast - Hell, why would I spend 4G on paint? For the writeoff?...lol If you share the passion, you love it... If you don't - Well, I think that's been shown already.
I see what's up. Just because somebody doesn't like the color you think they're "hatin" on your car. Dude, not everyone likes the same thing. If you did a good job painting it,etc. then good for you. You should be happy, but don't expect everyone to love it. There are $100k cars that look ugly as crap, the money spent on it doesn't matter. If you're happy with it, be happy with it. To me it looks like you just want people to be impressed and you're mad that everyone isn't drooling over it. It happens, and you shouldn't be like that, it's not healthy.

No, but you're hiding in your own thread saying the same things.
BTW, before you get bent out of shape again, I only stated twice that I did not see the huge deal about your charcoal colored CSVT. Once after the initial pictures that Todd posted, and once again after you posted the "better" pictures, stating yourself that:
Originally posted by BuckeyeSVT: If you are going to try to make a decision on whether you like the color or not - Let's start with some decent (not the best) pictures to look at.
So there's better pictures now. Ok, I still don't think it's that huge a deal. Even the first time, I gave you better credentials than you're giving me by saying:
Originally posted by SAV-ZX2: It's a nice color and stuff, but it's nothing special to me.
Do we have a problem here? No.
Not until you come back swinging with "I have a deal about your color." Hell man, it's your car and you're free to do whatever you please with it.
And on the flip side, it's MY freedom to decide whether or not I like it. You don't seem to want to accept that posting a picture or three does not necessarily mean that everyone is going to agree with what you did, no matter the work/time you put into it.
Again, I applaud you for going out of the way to try something new. I don't however, feel it necessary that you have to 'return the favor', saying I'm the bad guy, and by pointing out my mishap thread and further laughing about it. An accident is no laughing matter and I don't appreciate you stating any sort of humor about karma or otherwise, just as I'm sure you were less than pleased to see that I am not a huge fan of something you put a lot of work into.
Lastly, I could care less if your paintjob cost as much as my ZX2. That means nothing to me, and I'm not out to make myself feel better by comparing the cost of your paint to the cost of my entire vehicle. Consider this: I'm in college and can barely scrap enough money to afford the vehicle I have. I'm sure you're in a better situation. You obviously must be with the way your car looks.
Now for the third time, I ask that you please let this argument die. If FCO is so much better than CEG, then feel free to go back to your own little hole in the Internet. I'd not mind a bit.
You know, I'm at a total loss as for why you still persist in driving the bus on this. I feel that you overstepped your boundaries and disrespected my total work. Others have said they don't feel it - And I'm not saying anything to them or anyone else am I? Only you telling me you would've done it differently caught my attention because you tried to "duck and weave" your way out of explaining yourself.
So, are you done yet? I read your thread about your (accident). You want my opinion?... Speaking as a Body Shop Manager and Certified Estimator? Yes, I do this for a living - Along with managing a Parts Department as well - My 3 Ring Circus life.
The accident you had could've resulted in a no penalty to either driver, however if she insisted on it - You can be CITED for it. Doesn't matter if she was on the phone or not.. You pulled out of a blind area (meaning you couldn't see around the vehicle next to you) in front of her. She was talking on the cell phone... Made her reaction time greater due to inattention, HOWEVER... She wasn't barreling through the lot as you describe. If a Full Size pickup hit you at 5-8mph max, that damage would occur. There was no way she was doing faster - Or she would've rocked you hard. That ZX2 isn't a tank, I've seen plenty of them in here for 20-25MPH wrecks and have $3500.00 damage. Hell, I've got a 2004 Tiburon GT out back that was hit in a parking lot coming around a corner that set off both airbags and caused $6800.00 in damage! Would you like a photo of that? Now that I feel bad about... Your fender bender... nevermind.
Saying you don't like something is one thing, to sit here and tell me YOU would've done it differently is TELLING ME that I made the wrong choice. Do you have no respect for the work that was done at all? Jesus dude.. No wonder I got pissed. Capiece? Your friend telling me that I was telling you to like my color needs to re-read the thread - Or buy some glasses.. Cause all I wanted was an answer that you wouldn't give until I prodded you. Now I'm asking you - Not you asking me as it is MY decision to drop it as this thread deals with ME, to ask you to drop it! So drop it already! Sorry for your luck on the accident, shizz happens.. could happen to me later today at the store - Could happen to anyone. Get over it. The poor college student thing doesn't make me feel bad.. I was that way for 5 years also.. My parents DIDN'T carry me on their insurance like yours...liability or not. So be thankful that's one less expense you have. Be grateful your car is still drivable and you are walking away, it could've been alot worse.

You're an idiot. Read the posts. Noone is "hatin" on the car. Some people just don't like the color.
Dom, by doing it differently, I'm pretty sure Chris didn't mean anything about how you painted, modded, rubbed, or parked your car. He meant he would have painted it a different color. It seemed like you were trying to start **** and that's why it seems like Chris was trying to "weave" his way out. Dude, it's the internet, nothing to weave out of, he just didn't want to be in this arguement that he's in now. I can't believe how worked up an adult gets because somebody doesn't like the color of his car.
And you were a dick about his accident early, now you're trying to be somewhat nice about it. That's not cool.
Do you now realize that nobody was dogging the quality of the work? It was only the color being discussed. Did I put that simple enough for you to understand?

And Kremit, why did you even get involved? Definately wasn't your place. Stop ruining a basically good thread already. If you want to talk about the Paint Job, fine. Otherwise take it to PM or something. As in your own words... Originally posted by Kremithefrog: Did I put that simple enough for you to understand?
Dom. I like the paint job. Every now and again I see a 95 in that color, and think, "Man, that's a sweet color" I definately like it. Can't wait to see the final product.

I got involved because I know Chris and know what he meant. Why are you getting involved. Definitely isn't your place. Dom seemed to have wanted to ruin this thread himself. I'm not gonna let him bash Chris just because he didn't like the color. I think Dom took it all wrong, but how many times do I have to say it was just the color Chris was talking about before Dom understands?

Yeap them RS wheels are super heavy. C5's, IIRC, are the Centerline model name you're talking about. There are a couple cars at school with 'em. Def. a good choice.
