crap. I think the cleaner i was using was too strong. hell i know it was too strong now. they look awful, any suggestions? Someone mentioned "dipping" the wheels....no clue what that is, is there paint or solution i can use to restore its shine?

if a wheel cleaner says, "if wheel begins to haze after continous use, stop using product immediately." thats enough for me not to use it.

perhaps try some rubbing compound and see if you can restore the finish.

You probably used mag cleaner rather than wheel cleaner. That stuff is harsh and has acid in it. It'll eat away the clear coating on your rims. The wheel cleaner is much more mild. I personally like the Dupont teflon based wheel cleaner on my E1 rims. Haven't had a problem yet.
