If you're putting them in your low's, then yes they are.

I have silverstar high's and low's, along with silverstar fog light bulbs. The low's and high's are great, but the fog light bulbs burnt out pretty quick for some reason.

Are we talking about the same thing? Sylvania Silverstar bulbs are available in the stock sizes 9006 low beam and 9005 high beam. The fog lights are 893 and I forgot to mention I also have the silverstar 3457AST parking lights which are pretty cool, they look blue but light up orange. The wattages are the same, they just put a blue coating on the bulb to make the light more white instead of yellowish. Overall, I'm happy with them, pretty pricey, but they do make a difference.
