I got my new dash insert for my 72 Ventura and had to show it off. It is just sitting in the opening right now, I have to mount all the gauges. What kind of autometer gauges does everyone reccomend? Phantom, Black, or carbon fiber? The interior is staying black.



The interior is a mess from dust and taking the dash apart:

I don't know about autometer guages, but I think in an older car, carbon fiber would look out of place (unless more was planned...).

I'm assuming you mean the guage face, which black would probly fit the car better, not stand out a lot.

Another vote for black! If you can get chromed bezels, that would look even better.
