If you don't have aftermarket struts yet, hold on and wait until you get them. Otherwise, any shop should be able to do the swap. You could do it yourself, but if your not mechanically inclined, I'd pass.

I agree with Stabler - get new struts.
If you don't care about the rest of your suspension, then use the old, near shot OEMs you have now which aren't designed for use with lowering springs. If you keep the car long enough, you'll pay the price for it. Do it right the first time.

the stock struts are not designed to work with the stiffer spring rates that the aftermarket provides. thus, it will wear the struts out quicker, especially if you already ahve used struts. So, after you pay for the installation of the springs, a few months later you will be paying the labor all over again to install the new struts. So g et both at the same time and don't worry about them. As for places to get them, SP is a good source. Which ones? Depends on your budget and what you want. I recommend the Koni's and thats what most people probably get. Originally posted by foldthecorners: Why should he wait until he gets struts? Since you mentioned SP Motorosports, I will vouch for them and say they do good work. Obviously it would be much cheaper to install the stuff yourself, but it's not quite as easy as it might sound IMO.

Except SP Motorsports isn't in the area anymore. They moved to another state.

Speaking of which, what's the deal with ProTech? I assume the same tech is still there (forget his name).
