If the fuel pump relay and inertia switch check out OK then check the ignition relay under the dash. A few of the Contours I've had have had the same symptom and the fix was the igintion relay. One good(and easy) way to tell is to see if your power windows and the blower motor work with the key in the run position. If they don't work then it is most likely your ignition realy OR a burnt out ignition switch.
