What are your guys' opionion on either the memphis 500d or the mtx. Right now im in the market in getting a 500 D but am not to sure where or not i should get the memphis or mtx. Both amps are about the same output and what not, the only major thing is reliablity! If this helps I have 2 mtx 6000 series with 500 watts max power waiting for me. So all your opions would help.
thanks

I've had a couple MTX amps as well as some friends/family. Never a single problem and always put out much more than rated power.

They do run very warm, tho. Maybe the class D will take care of the heat issues.

Definately go with 4ga power wire (and ground wire) and allow for pleanty of cooling if you get the MTX.

MTX has always made good stuff. I recommend the MTX since you already have MTX amps. That way your amps will all turn on at the same time. Using different amps can sometimes result in the front end or bass coming on out of synch, unless you have a synch output on all amps involved. You could just time both amps as to how long it takes them to turn on if you really want to use a different amp. If its a big deal to you.
