I haven't posted on the boards in awhile because my Mystique is a sad shameful car... but tonight I am going to pick up my SVT. I am so excited. I look at 85% of local SVTs for sale but never get any of them because something always goes wrong. But finally I will have one and most likely I will keep the Mystique too just because I do a lot of driving to my lady's college. The CSVT I am getting is a early 98 model, silver. I am sad that it doesn't have have the rear spoiler or sunroof but I can cope with it. The sunroof in my Mystique doesn't even work ever since it got broken out. The only problem now is affording insurance on two cars when I can barely afford the Mystique because of my driving record.

Just an FYI... if it doesn't have a sunroof, then it probably isn't an SVT. All of them came with a sunroof.

I am paying 7,300. I got the loan for 8,000 though and will probably use the extra cash to purchase a clutch for the Mystique.

From everything that I have read the SVTs came with three options. Sunroof, rear spoiler, and CD player. I have seen lots of other SVTs without sunroofs as well.

Probably better off without a sunroof since the one on my Mercury got a rock thrown through it.

actually the sunroof was a no cost option - and to have an svt without it is VARY rare.

John Elway Ford has a 98 Silver Frost SVT that is Automatic and no sunroof. I ponder about that one. Even asked the sales manager if he is 100% positive that its an SVT. He said he will check into it.
