The 1203 does work well in a 2 cuft sealed enclosure for SQ applicaions.
With 1200 watts on it, it should get plenty loud as well. If you are
looking for more bottom octave response, a 3 cuft enclosure tuned to 30 Hz
works very good too.
We currently do not plan to build DVC drivers, but things may change at a
later date. The voicecoil and motor combination that we are currently using
has excellent linear excursion abilities. Changing to some of the current
autosound coil configurations, will loose some Xmax, or sensitivity. At
this point in time, we do not want to compromise the driver.
