after some searching i've discovered my egr problem to be linked to a bad DPFE sensor, and i'll be ordering a replacement soon.....
however i have NO idea where it's located, if someone can post a pic and locate it i'ld appreciate it very much.

on the driver side, right of the throttle body...its a rectangle shaped sensor about 2inches by 2 1/2 inches. Its on the rear head below the EGR valve. Its ont he head it self!!! Not the upper intake manifold

2 rubber hoses going in the lower part and 1 out the top AFAIK.

ahh [censored], my comp is in the garage right now cause i still moving in. But I got a picture. on V6 models, its directly south east of the throttle body. Remove the big black hose to the intake, thats connected to the throttle body, then you can get to it fairly easy. Do a search and you shall find what your looking for under trouble shooting. Its also called a MAC sensor. And i believe P0401 and P0402 are the trouble codes associated with the DPFE sensor. If i knew where my camera cords were. I would just snap a pic and unload it this comp. Good luck... Ohh it can be silver or black.
