Hey, I was wondering what would be cheaper, I think buying a whole new front bumper, instead of getting it re-painted, I was just wondering where, or if, I can find a Front Bumper, Maroon colored, for the 99 Contour SVT...
I got a big ugly scratch (the pre-owner hit a curb or something) and its just bugging me, so I was wondering where I could find a new front bumper, maroon colored, for a 99 Contour SVT...

btw, the "maroon color" is Toreador Red. It would be cheaper and easier to paint yours then to find a mint condition svt bumper your stock color.

$200-250. I doubt you can even find a front for under $400.

you'll have to go to a local bodyshop to get a quote. most bodyshops give free estimates.

I got quoted 475 to completely strip and repaint my bumper, or 521 for a remanufactured one painted and installed...I will probably get the new one and sell mine. it is scratched and paint is peeling, but if someone would have to repaint it anyway they'd buy it I'm sure.

When the dealership (who contracted out) had to repaint my front bumper (long & old story) the invoice was ~$350 for every thing.
I have not priced a "new" front bumper but aren't they like $600 un-painted...
Finding a used one in good shape is extremely hard to say the least.

A new front is around $400...the rear is about $800  I have a new factory take-off I got for $200...they can be found, usually not when you need it tho
