I have a 98 CSVT, i'm going to be replacing the fuel pump in the near future and want the svt focus pump. 300lph i believe? Does anyone know what part number a direct replacement would be? Or is there some kind of modification that i need to do? Any help would greatly be appreciated.

I just replaced mine and was planning on the Focus SVT pump(even bought one), but my mechanic would not make the modification. So, I went with the stock replacement. Let me see if I can dig up the FSVT part number.

I believe the FSVT pump will only work on returnless cars, but I'm not 100% sure.

Yes it is a returnless smart pump.

The pumps are the same as the mustangs and trucks(size and shape) I just put in a 255 mustang pump for $150. Perfect fit and it came with the new pig tail for the pump. Before I ordered it I had another duratec pump that I compared to my friends 5.4L f-150, it was identical in every way exept for the harness connector. This applies to my 95 contour and I don't know if the newer ones are different but it worked for me.

Well, since i'm not able to use the FSVT pump, is there an upgrade at all for the 98's? Your help is greatly appreciated.
