no mileage estimate. I'd say no-the-heck-way for anything more than $100. No clue what condition that motor is in. It could have 200k on it and have a spun bearing or something, maybe satan himself lives in those cylinders

for $25, seems low risk... otherwise no info on engine, no pictures of engine... its a crap shoot.
And actually it says OHC engine in the question and answer section but they say they have DOHC ones too.

considering the recent news on 3.0L's im thinking a pushrod vulcan might be the better bet...

Your RIGHT!!!!!!
I got this quote form the bottom of the list..... Quote:
Q: Is it the OHC or the DOHC engine? Thanks. answered on: Aug-29-04 A: It is the regular 3.0L like most Taurus and Sables have. We do have one of those 24 valve ones that someone wants us to list, but we do not know how much...more
Seems like it is a vulcan...looks like on too...the upper intake seems too small.
3.0 SVT hybrid...all the fixens...Track/Race ready very soon!!!!!! 20,000 + miles

Sounds like the wrong type of engine for the 3.0L swap. Did anyone confirm that the 4F1Z-6009-BA that Bill Jenkins put a post up about works? Sounds like for the money it is the best bet. Thanks guys for all the good information in this forum in general! Marty 98 SVT

So put the vulcan in. It has a cool name. "YO MAN, I got a VULCAN in here!!"
