Well, here is my problem, I installed a new Radio in the car, I installed the JVC KD-SC800 and now the antenna doesnt come out no more....does any1 know what it wrong? and how I could fix it?

Another problem I experienced was that sometimes (when I brake hard, drive over a speedbump with the front right wheel only) I get a sound that sounds like something is breaking, like a CRACK sound, in the front right, the car still drives fine, but its irrating me, any1 know what that could be?

Yes, I did search, but couldnt find anything, so any help would be appreciated, thanks!

not sure about the second problem but make sure the signal wire to the antenna is connected to the radio so that the radio can tell the antenna to work

I had to get a new connecting piece, since only the connectors for the stock radio were in there, well, I connected all wires, besides I believe 3 orange ones, and one blue one, cause there was no more room for them, on the connector that fits my new radio, so you think its because one of those 4 cables isnt connected? how am I gonna fix that though? I mean, there is no more room on the connector for the new radio....I mean, no more unused cables are coming from the new radio connector pieec, but there are still places in the connector itself, I would put it in one of those, but which one, lol....i hope that made sense :-x

The noise COULD be your sway bar rubbing against the frame. Take the wheel off on the side where the noise is and look for shiny metal, which would indicate recent rubbing. There shouldn't be any shiny metal (Or shiny plastic either) in the wheelwell area.

If it is, then use a pry bar to force the sway bar back towards you about 1/2 to 1 inch (until it's centered) Be careful, that's hand cutting territory there too!

I just looked in the manual for the radio, and it says the blue w/ white stripes wire is the one for electrical antennas etc. Well, I checked, and it is connected, when I turn the key, the antenna is actually making a sound like it would go up for about 1-2 seconds, but then it stops, and the antenna doesnt go up.....any ideas? :-\

Perhaps the antenna mast is broken? Worth a shot!

if you have a wireing harness adapter for the radio to plug into the stock hrness you just match colors and it should all work fine
