What kind of fog light bulbs can I put in my 98 svt contour factor fog light holes and also what is the part number for the kind of bulb I need??

889 or 899 i think also

Actually it should be for #1. 893 is the correct bulb, but you can also use 885. I was just poking fun at his post.

893 is stock, 885 is a little brighter but due to increased power, but some ppl have melted their lenses. I have run 885s with no problems for years. FWIW.

Even 893's have melted my lenses, no way I'm going 885 But diferent strokes for different folks

you can use 880's like me, which is stupid because they are lower power, i just cant find bright white ones in either 893 or 885 if i could i would use those, the 880's i have are silverstar and match my headlights

Nokya makes some 893's in a white. It's about the white color of PIAA's, looks exactly the same color temp as my SilverStars. Do a froogle search, they're fairly cheap for being white bulbs too. I've had mine in for almost a year now, without them burning out (knock on wood)

Also, SilverStars are now available in a 893 bulb
