If i wanted to put one dayton 12 in a 4th order BP what size chambers would be ideal (but also on the small side)?

.67 cu ft on the sealed side. (heavy fill)
.9 cu ft on the ported side. (wall lined with eggcrate foam or fiberglass insulation)
4" port with dual flared ends 4" total port length.

That's best I could do and save some space for the Shiva. I'll see if I can do any better for the Dayton.

With the Dayton DVC.

You can get away with
sealed: .67
ported: .67
Port: Dual flared 4inch port 12.75 inches long.

I would sugest that you use polyfill on the sealed side because it will smooth out a peak at about 90 hz. If you want to go without, it probably won't be real audible.

I wouldn't skip the egg crate foam or fiberglass insulation on the ported side though.
