Assume all would be loaded, MT and sport versions where available. 2 kids, 5 & 7. This car would compliment an '05 Escape we already have, and a toy in the garage for limited use. What would you do? Mark

I love the RX8 but I'm not sure how much room you have for kids. Jags are way overpriced for what you get IMO. I really like the new line of Volvos myself and I think they've always had a pretty good safety rating on their cars which might be a factor when you're hauling kids around.

Jag is just too overpriced for what you get, in my book.
I'd run with the S80 as well.

I agree on the safety factor for the Volvo with the wife/kids and all, is also slightly larger than the X-type. LS obviously has the testicles lacking in both the S80 and X-type and is dead sexy in the right color. The poorer gas mileage and smallish tank hurts the range, which sucks on a family daily driver IMO. Grr, tough choice! I guess I'd want my family in the safest bit of kit and will assume that's the Volvo; so S80 it is.

I gotta go with the S80, though it must be in T6 trim.

I'm assuming you're going for new on all of those choices, so I'll throw in an awesome used car deal: Jag S-Type R.
