do you guys think that being low by up to .5litre (16oz) will cause ATX on 2.5l v6 Contour se to be slow to get into gear? Also, would it cause tranny to 'go out of gear' on a hard stop?

Waddya youze say?

I wouldn't think so.........Have you done a fluid change recently? What kind of maintenance have you done on the atx?

recently had tranny flush from dealership. Then had probs on cold starts and after a hard stop. Thing would not engage or on a stop, would disengage. Ususally for a couple secs but trouble none the less.

Dealer could not replicate prob even though I told them how. They said fluid was a little low and topped it up. Have not had a prob since but that don't mean anything yet as the prob didn't occur regularly.

Have you ever had the TransGo shift correction kit installed? Kit is about 30 dollars and you do not have to pull the trans to install this.....good insurance and a must to have in my opinion.......
