hey everyone! its bernie! havent been around for a while cause my comp has been [censored]. plus i've been riding my bike in this beautiful weather until that is the motor blew. thats besides the point though.

i was also just wondering if anybody knows where i can find or if anybody has a tranny i can buy. i need one for my '00 SVT. yup, after 110000 miles of driving playfully the tranny spider gears ate themselves. or even if yall know someone who rebuilds them for a decent price. i remember someone from the cougar site posts on here who does some work for us.

if anybody has any feedback it would be greatly appreciated.
i know someone like pete who wheels and deals on here might come up with something.

thans in advance everyone!!

DanG is the cougar guy you are thinking of.

I am not a wheeler and dealer so I can't help you with the rest of it but it's good to see you back online.

Moxnix - Glad to be on orginal tranny at 141,800 miles

The CD4E? Or the MTX-75? There's a trans shop in Chantilly that I use- I really should approach them to see if they'll cut our groups a discount for work- Pete's complete MTX-75 rebuild was $460, my plain LSD install was $350 (including $50 for new diff. bearings)... I'm sure these guys can tackle a CD4E too...

Since he said 00 SVT I would guess it is a MTX-75 but that would just be a guess
