It can vary widely. Each dealership is free to set their own labor charges and parts mark up. Some discount brake jobs to keep them more competitive, and others do not.

A typical price would probably be in the range of $185.00 to $250.00 per axle including machining rotors or drums. A few may be less and a few may be more.

Well it is only my rears that need replacing (I bought the car certified used 20k miles ago and the dealer had replaced the fronts, apparently though, not the rears)...is it safe to do just the one axle? Can i bring my own parts so they dont overcharge me?

typically if you bring your own parts they adjust the labor.

Honestly, I'd just do it yourself, its not that involved and lots cheaper than taking it to the dealer.
