I've made a decision. I bought a new Kenwood head unit today. I love it.
It's the KDC-X917
This has some really great features and sounds great. I'm really impressed with the quality of music coming out.

Now, My only problem is I have a CDX-C90 and 767 changer to get rid of. Anyone know a good place to get rid of them?
What should the reserve be if I put it on E-Bay? It's only 6 monthes old. I have all pieces and original box.

???

Why did you upgrade? I have always been a fan of the Kenwood eXcelon series, excellent sound quality and lots of features! Lets see some pics!

"Why did you upgrade?"

With all due respect, is it really an upgrade?

I have always liked the Kenwood look! and liked there choice of features.

But I'm not sure that its an upgrade in quality from the C90. However, it may be an upgrade for what he wants in a cd player. But when it comes to quality/design/features theres not much that beats the C90, IMO
Of course I'm sorta bias! wink

I am also curious on why you choose to upgrade?

I'd like to think of it as a sidestep! smile
I was looking to buy an parametric EQ to go along with the Sony. I wanted the XDP-4000X but decided against it. I just got the top of the line Kenwood CD deck instead, Now I have the parametric EQ in my deck.Next up is some Audio Control fine tuning.

So, Does anyone know what I should ask for this deck?

Tim,

Wouldn't the 210eq given you what you wanted and all controlled from the HU?

How much are they going for on ebay. I would say $500-600 would be fair. I paid $450 for mine *Brand New* off of ebay. That was just luck though, they guy didn't have a reserve and listed it wrong so hardly no one saw it smile my gain. He worked for a car audio shop so he signed the warranty certificate saying I got it installed by a sony rep, and I have full warranty. Anyways enough about me.

I would shoot for $500-600 but see what they are going for on ebay. That would be your best bet.

Oh and if anyone has a Sony 210eq they are willing to sell let me know laugh

100.00. Do you accept paypal? wink

450-600.00 depending on the condition would probably be fair depending on the condition. Why not get a PPI 1/3 octave EQ to match the amp?
