If you are racing someone heads up it R/T matters greatly...
I've been catching [censored] for the last week because my buddy's SHO beat my Lightning. My 13.3 @ 103 to his 13.4 @ 108. I was sleep at the tree....
If you want to be anygood at drag racing then R/Ts matter...yes, they don't really directly affect yourr E/T, but in the whole picture they matter.

Nope......factory turbo!!! 17 psi up to 5k rpm and then it will fall to 14 psi by redline.
W/out slicks I cant imagine what kind of crappy times I would be running. Josesvt can attest to Fontana not having the best track prep.

Why are you falling to under stock boost at redline? I know stock, many srt4s fall to 12psi at redline, but I thought with the boost controller and the spring mod that was taken care of. I thought you could also boost to 19psi and fall to 17 psi safely on the stock fuel system.

The turbo back adds more than a conventional aftermarket exhaust. That's still a really great time and has to be some great driving. The tires are what really make the difference.
What do you think you're putting down? 260-270whp?

I had installed a wastegate actuator and I didn't like how much it spikes and changes from gear to gear. I usually just short shift and let the torque pull the car. You dont want to run more than 15-16 lbs at redline. My car was running a bit lean 12.5:1 and climbing.... past 5K rpm.
Best dyno #'s to date is 269WHP and 298WTQ.
To be honest, I think these times are on the slow side for the rest of the country. I ran a new personal best(85.45) 1/8th mph that night but my 1/4 mph was the same as when I run 83-84 at the 1/8th.

and the haters turn to believers lmao...
but seriously, those times are about right. We're running near the same mods (slow4dr and I) except I run street tires (this is so I know how fast I run on the street *smirk) and I pull 13.5's at 105 with 2.1 and 2.2's in the 60'.
