I beg to differ. Don't get me wrong, it's a very nice setup; However for 3000.00 "and the reserves not met yet" I believe I could build a better setup. And best of all, It would be new, not sitting in a demo car for year.

Yep. Read the article. Basically, said it did everything well. No system weaknesses anywhere.

I have been doing car stereo for about eight years now, And this setup sounds very good. The downside is that its used, and there would be a great deal of custom fabrication would be needed. The mylar ribbon tweeters are pretty large and dont fit many places. I built fiberglass kick panels for mine to house a 4" and a tweeter. I have a 6" in the doors and two 10"s. Using Xtant amp and subs with Bostpn pro mids and highs. Let me tell you it sounds great. I have right at $3,000 into my system. But i did all the custom work my self and saved a lot of money. I would put together a system part by part until you are satisfied. Just remember the two most important parts of a system are the head unit and the amplifier. This is where all your sound signal is generated.

Actually, it was available to all of americans! smile It's been around for a few years but was so expensive that I doubt too many people in the country had it.

x-E-S- is the stuff that sony actually took their time into making. The only downside to this stuff is that it is expensive and all the amps and subs and speakers are made to run together. The subs run the amp at a 1 ohm load and the speakers are at about the same ohmage. All of it is designed to work togher. Its about the only sony product i would ever own-- its good stuff.

Hmmm....Only sony product you would every own! Whatcha talking about man...sony makes sweet ****!

Well, I'm not a huge fan of anything Xplode! And Sony is not a great speaker company but I think they make top of the line:
TV's, Recievers, Car Audio Recievers, Processors, DVD players...the list goes on man!

But you are intitled to you opinion!
