Has anyone tried putting this stuff in before oil change? It says it will dissolve any deposits. I'm about to put some in my gas tank, but I'm kinda leery of putting any solvents in w/ my oil.
On a somewhat related note, where the heck can I find some of that Berryman's that goes in the vacuum lines to clean the UIM? TIA for any constructive replies.

That's messed up. I work at an Auto Zone here in Cinti., and we don't have any Berryman's besides the 16 oz. B-12 in the can and the little plastic bottles of Berryman's fuel injector cleaner. We do have STP spray cans of throttle body cleaner. Is that similar?

Use the 16oz can of Berrymans. Thats the stuff with the little spray tube nozzle attachment on the side of the can.
I pulled my UIM/LIm to clean them but from what BIg Jim has said the spray can works very well while the car is running.

I don't know that I'd try the crankcase treatment if your car has higher milage. Seems like it's pretty harsh.

Back to the Berryman treatment for the crank case...

My car was a fleet vehicle & the oil may not have been changed as often as it should have. It was sludgy in there. I put the Berryman in with my oil at 60k miles - just before an oil change (read the instructions). Cleaned the engine up great! It sparkles inside & I now run Mobil 1 with no leaks - that may be because I'm lucky.

Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.
