Used to know a guy that changed his oil that way because his drain plug was stripped, but he would rev it up to get the oil out faster. I just knew the motor would throw a rod any day.

Damn truck ran forever.

Man, I've had that happen, where it was really hard to get the bolt out. I could lift myself by the wrench and nada. But if you let the car cool down, or you could go back to the dealer and tell them to take it out and hand tighten it.
