I am trying to fix the rattle in the rear deck of the car. I was going to put a layer of 1" foam underneath it but I can't get the deck to come out. Does anyone know how to remove the rear deck?

Yeah, you have to fold down the rear seats, undo teh retainers and latch trim on the rear deck, remove the "c" pillar trim, undo the center shoulder belt at the bottom via the little hole, and remove the trim cover for it as well. Then, the rear deck liner just pulls and slides out towards the front.

I have a rear deck rattle and I'm beginning to wonder if it's coming from the area where the window meets the deck.

I've already ruled out the seat latches and the center belt as well as the side belt retractors.

The car has already been to Tweeter Etc where the deck was dynamatted and some foam added on top of that. They also rigidified the mount for the amp tray slung underneath.

Has anyone ever found their rear deck to rattle/creak/chirp where the window meets the deck?

Dynamat is not thick enough for the rear deck. You need some 1/5 to 3/4" thick foam, like carpet pad.
