Well, I picked up a car I have always admired - a 98 Audi A4 2.8 Quattro with the 30V V6. It was cheap, $13.5k CAD with 45k miles. Sport Package, Bose system with 6 CD changer, sunroof and winter package. Sweet. It needs some work, the previous owner neglected it, but in its dirty current form, it sure is nice! It has been in the shop for a week getting timing belt replaced, valve covers replaced, new discs and pads (slotted in front), new brake booster and various other things. I haven't been able to drive it since the day I bought it, but it sure is smooth, torquey and classy! And the 5-speed Tiptronic is fun. But overall, the SVT has way more soul... Oh how I admire that car too!
Unfortunately on this side of the 'Straight' too the majority of the A4's aren't taken care of, unless it's those new ones. Is this your winter "beater" or replacment? And are new Wh33ls in the picture?

It's sort of the luxury winter beater. Enough scuffs and dents to be a beater, and tough enough to take more. On the other hand, it's more luxury than the SVT, so it's the new road tripping car.
No, it doesn't replace the SVT.
New wheels are not in the picture...the 16x7 rims are fine...with the Sport Package it handles good enough...

I wish it was pearl, but it's not.
Casablanca White, sort of a creamy colour. Actually quite pretty when clean. I got the chance to wash it before it went into the shop for the whole week.
