I really like the look of that Lanos. I actually looked at getting one of those before my contour. They are really cheap to buy, But hard to find with a 5 speed  And only a 1.6L engine. Probibly goes like hell since they are so light though.

Goes like hell with a 1.6 liter?  I hope it's super turbo charged!  J/K man. Looks kinda ricey to me, but to each his own.

Not to mention the mods cost more than the car, from the factory. I am sorry if this offends you, but it's pointless to me (and I'm sure 70% of the people out there). And no I don't feel high and mighty with my CSVT as most people come back with. Just stating my opinion, flame suit on I guess.

My opinion (almost a month later... lol): There's nothing "ricey" on the car. The wheels are not oversized, it is not super slammed, there's no decals/vinyls, the stock spoiler isn't huge like some people like to do it, etc. To answer a question "why a Daewoo?" Well, because it's not a car that you see everywhere, like CIVICs for example, it's something different. Also, because it's pretty cheap for almost a brand new car. To those who are wondering how quick it is...... It is pretty light (2440 lbs), and with all my mods it still nowhere as quick as my previous Contour, but it beats regular Civic's with exhaust/intakes. Also, it is now in the classifies because I'd like to get a Contour again I miss my Contour.

Ok Mr. Smartie Pants, I'm not aiming anywhere with that car. Just some people were saying it might run like hell, some where like "hell no". So, I just provided a comparison. At least my car doesn't break down everyday.

Are you blind man??? Where's the Star Trek pic from the other thread??!! The body kit is the definition of horrid and ricey at the same time, which is magnified by 10 due to it being a Daewoo.

If you knew anything about cars, you would know that THAT specific body kit comes STOCK on the Daewoo Sport edition. And yes it is a Daewoo, not your regular Ford that every grandma has.
