my computer is refusing to run WinISD for some unknown reason right now...heres the sub

Your URL shows 3 different woofers - which one did you have in mind?

There are two models but both seem to be optimized for a 2 cu ft enclosure.

BTW, that is entirely too much power if you are sending 1200 watts RMS.

...and you're sending between 1200-1400?
on a relatively no-name sub???

all i can say is that the box won't matter too much because they will be blown before you hit the first note.

Eclipse a no name sub? I don't think so. They are one of the better subs on the market.

but anyway,...ugh i want a single 15" setup that will take 1200watts..that'll look as nice as the eclipse..

im going to talk to som eclipse owners I think about how much they give theirs..

what about if I use a smaller box to increase power handling..?

And give up deeper bass extension while decreasing sensitivity? What would be the point? You should be able to adjust your gains down to avoid overdriving the sub.

its an MTX8100D

its very difficult to get the look I want for this install..im having trouble finding the right equiment,,,just need the sub one 15"
