This morning I was awoken at about 7AM EDT by the whole house shaking. I was like WFT is happening. I thought I was dreaming, but when I saw the blinds on my windows and my hanging plant all swaying too I thought holey crap something is happening.
At one point it shook so hard I got scared, plus my liquor bottles were clanging together, now that would be a tragedy if they smashed.
Anyone have any idea what it may have been? I think it may have been the low frequency transverse verberations from an earthquake.
Oh yeah, I live in CT so some people may not have experienced this.

Sorry!, I was testing my new sub setup in my car. I squeezed 400 12" subs and it is a little loud. But, I didn't think it would reach there all the way from Oklahoma.

From the Associated Press:
An earthquake felt from Maine to Maryland rattled the Northeast on Saturday morning with a magnitude of 5.1, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The earthquake hit just before 7 a.m. about 15 miles southwest of Plattsburgh, in northern New York near the Vermont and Canadian borders.

uhh if i remember correctly from earth science 2 years ago, i dont remeber there being any tectonic plates in that area, so is this a sign that science has been wrong.
earthquake are cause buy 2 or more tectonic plates hiting each other, rubing, or seperating.
so if my memory is right, then this is a good thing as it will help prove what really causes equakes. that only if im right and there are no plates there.
