OK heres the scoop, I left from a stop light, as I engaged second gear, and let out the clutch, my V6 Mystique, coughed and then died.

I still had full power to all accessories. The engine would crank without hesitation. But no runnning for me

I immediately thought fuel pump, no gas no go. The others I asked (this happened on the way back from lunch) at the plant (Ford Dearborn Stamping ironically), thought it was an ignition problem.

When I was able to get a ride back I began looking at the relays in the power distribution box under the hood, based on a thread at this board. The relays were fine.

I then looked through the owners manual to see what fuses might be gone, as it turns out the main EEC power fuse, a goofy looking 20A had BROKEN, not blown, but broken.

I yanked that baby out of there and hightailed back to the plant where I soldered it up. Waited a few hours for a ride back to my ride, popped it in and fired her up.

I bet that saved me a metric-assload of cash. I will be replacing the fuse later today, but at 3am, it worked.

Hope this helps someone else.
