I read an atricle online (I don't remember which Auto mag site it was) that said Ford was going to bring the Mondeo back as a Mercury, but I haven't heard anything about a Ford badged product.

I received a call from a research group that stated that they received my information from FORD as I have a 2000 Contour. I tried trading my car for a SVT. So I think that my have gotten me on SOME list.

If it was a 2003 model, Ford would have shown it at this season's auto shows. I think it's a lie to get you to some sales thing. Just like when they say "Come see a new TV show" and it's an old unsold pilot or canceled show and they want to test commercials  .

the mr2 went away and came back..
the rx7 went away and came back as the rx8
i'm sure ther others
