them are fightin words...be more specific, as not all imports sound like chainsaws. choose your words carefully next time

ok the neon srt-4 type sound is what im looking for but a little more mellow. i know it's impossible to match the mustang sound but i would like to get as close as possible to it as i can maybe with a little backfire like the srt-4, but nothing like a civic. hows that

Buy a Mustang then...

...or graft 2 more cylinders on to our engine.
Hey Ford did it once to the 3L so it's possible.

Best bang for the buck is a Trubendz with a Magnaflow

If you're getting a set of new headers(of which you only have 2 options and one is a ) then you're picking up the MSDS headers....that comes with a Y-pipe. You'll get a really deeps sound outta those. As for the Cat back, you should really go with the best bang for your buck, Trubendz. They perform extremely well, they're cheap, and they are customizable with the Borla, Magnaflow, flowmaster mufflers...so you get the performance you deserve with the sound you want. Its definitely worth it.

MSDS Headers and y pipe + trubendz w/magnaflow muffler. Same setup i run and it completely transforms the car. it rumbles at idle and absolutely screams on top.

Visit CTAmotorsports.com and check out the sound clips they have. Some clips include headers, so that'll help you choose a system. Trubendz.com will have some nice pricing, but I don't recall any sound clips.

Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.
