Just found this site...

http://www.bmw850.de/navinnen_e.html

It appears these videos were done on the Autobahn. On the two lane highway he only accelerates to 100 kph, so no laws are being broken as far as I can tell.

I want one! Wah!

Nice! Someday I want to own a 12-cylinder car of some kind, if only for a little while, and the 850 is definitely high on the list.

Iv had the luxory in driving many BMW's( i work for BMW dealer ship in Mountain View CA). 850Ci is a beast...its great in a stright line, but its lacking in the turns...feels a little slugish almost boat like in the turns. (this was after the suspension was replaced.)

And maintanence is a [censored]!!!! has 2 throttle bodies ($1000 a piece if they go bad) takes 8 quartes of oil.
2 MAF's ($700 a piece if they go)Breaks al the way around are about $750.....

They are wonderful cars and i love them, but parts are a major pain in the wallet.

New 3 series is nice...I reconmend getting one now...there changing the body style again (as early as next year) and im not sure how its going to look.....The new M5 comes out next year (or end of this one)with a v10 motor and the M6 will be at the end of 2005/ begining of 2006.

Also the new Z4 will be getting an Upgrade to M status...the New Z4 M roadster will debut next year sometime with a v8 motor...that is what im looking forward too.
