I was wondering if there's anything extra I should be concerned with in replacing the rear speed sensor in my 99se. Anyone have any other cheaper parts sources? Ford dealer/online wants $70, and I feel ripped off if I go that route. Any and all constructive criticism/advice greatly appreciated.

To order parts, dial 1-800-876-3280
And if I can identify the ford specific part that I need I will be using these guys because the price is right I am told.
I found this by doing a search for buy parts in the General Forum. As far as advice goes I can't help you there.

I know all about how to search. I just wanted more resources than what we have up--kind of disconcerted with ford/dealership prices. I wanted to get more info on stock replacement part sources than what we have now--for stuff like abs components, you just don't want to screw around.

you might try rocksauto. they usually have decent prices.
Unfortnately, most ABS components are dealer only parts.

I'd still call the number in Vegas that was posted. It is a dealership but Bill Jenkins hooks you up with the price because you're part of CEG.

They've got some miscellaneous parts there. Nothing I was looking for, but if they have what you need, could be a good deal.
