some people don't think at all before they do things with cars...

my remote starter even came with a sticker that you put in the engine bay that says "this vehicle is equipped with a remote starter, disable it before doing work on the car"

and it also had the hood pin that would disable it when the hood was open. (i didn't install that but it was there anyway..)

Ahhh yah... when i installed my brother's remote starter... i hadta calibrate the computer for Open hood, closed hood, pressed brake... depressed brake... i know how to steal one of them remote starter vechiles now... unplug the brake pedal switches

Did it, but i cant move the steering wheel

I always have my hood open either way when doing the Oil.... And i have the keys on the driver seat... So i dont think her starting when im working is possible unless someone decides to be a douchebag...

Most newer automatic GMs do lock the doors when you put it in Drive, not when you turn the cars on. I do not know about manual equipped ones. My Camaro is a 92 with a stick and it does no such thing. I remember one time having to help a lady get inside her Metro becuase the doors would lock automaticly when they were closed with the key in the ignition so maybe the stick ones do lock the doors when you turn them on or something.

My Zetec died one too many times so I got a new car. 1992 Camaro RS 305 TBI with T-5 M/T, high flow cat, custom cat back exhuast. Soon to be home to a LS1 stroked to a 383 with a T-56. Hey Brad, want to race?
