And i wanted to get rid of my bandpass but then i thought "Hey my bandpass is loud and my ported is clean sounding so why dont i just buy another sub and pop them both it?" Now i my be crazy and this may be a stupid question but has anyone tried this? And what did you think of it? BTW Does anyone know how to make the damn panel behind the back seats stop rattling!!!???

If you're talking about the rear deck cover, you'll need to put some type of material between it and the rear deck (metal part). I used 3/4" felt carpet padding cut to fit. Easy and cost next to nill.

I have heard and read numerous accounts or people who have experimented with two different boxes. None have really been happy with the results. You could however, try something like building a small ported box and create a plug for the port. Play around with both sealed and ported and see what you like. You may determine that you prefer ported boxes when listening to pop-type music and sealed when listening to rock. I wouldn't, however, recommend going with a ported and a bandpass.

What kind of subs do you have? I may be able to help you make the right box to suit your needs.
