Out of all the players on the Sox roster this year, I dig Reese and Kapler. Reese is just amazing (great move picking him up) and Kapler is just here to play. He's making league minimum ($750k, but, still), and was offered $2+m to move elsewhere. He chose not to, because he loved playing here.

Remember when Kapler hit like 3 homeruns in his Fenway debut? I was in Great Scott in Allston and was like who is this guy! He's not that bad though, now. Solid high 200s hitter.
I like this new guy Youkilis too. Really strong bat. He's got great numbers with runners in scoring position. Can't wait until are lineup is back to normal. Ortiz, Pokey, and Nixon back in there.
I wonder what they are going to do about Millar though. His bat has heated up, but once Ortiz comes back, there is no place for him.
I'll be there on the 18th! Only the 2nd game I've gone to this year. How lame!

well i know i am from NY, but i am a huge sox fan have been my whole life and so has my father and that whole side of the family. with that said, I like the nomar trade because we def needed the defense but i am going to miss him and gives me a little bit of a sick feeling when i see him in a cubs uniform but i think i can get used to it. I mean we obviousally needed to do soemthing different to win a world series and i think this is a step in the right direction. I did not feel this way when the hillenbrand trade went down. that was a mistake trading a yankee killer for someone who can not beat the yankees if his life depended on it and now he is not even in the majors. sory but shea was the man..
on manny, awsome hitter his fielding is getting better and better see the catch last night.

The Grand Slam I saw coming. No big deal, it was early enough in the game to get another run.
Now sending Roberts home from 3rd with no outs! It is Wendell Kim at 3rd again!!! ARGH!
You only send him if there is 100% Certainty he will score! Sure, if there were 2 outs, send him. But with no outs???
Oh well, not like I actually expected a sweep. Hell, if we win all of our upcoming series (2 out of 3, or 3 out of 4), we'll definately be in the post season.
